It is possible to make a one-off mould with plaster of paris and CSM. Just sayin'.

One can get a very good finish if pedantic enough, but it's not the easiest thing in the world. Biggest issue being deformation of the weave when trying to stretch the CF over an object, that's why you lay a fine weave on top
