If I search for auction 419948781 by choosing Nissan from the drop down list and entering Laurel in the model/keyword box it does not appear in the list of results.
(note I am neither buying or selling this car, it's just an example)

Your not going mad, I tried that particular example myself and it dosn't come up and no I didn't have a local area search selected.
I suspect it may just be the Trademe search has the steaming feces filter enabled.

when i was searching for Passats in chch, sometimes, even though they were on my watchlist they would not come up under the general search. It was odd.

sometimes you can cut n paste a keyword from an auction and that auction wont show up in the results,,, WTF!
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
