Everyday i have to toot my horn as cars get backed up for miles while people stop and have a think about things and wait for a couple cars to go then deside to go through a gap that was the same size as the first gap! Are people really that slow and ignorant of all the cars pilled up behind them.

No, a stationary vehicle can never cause a crash, it's the idiots who cannot perceive that the vehicle they are approaching is in fact not moving, and crash into it. Such people obviously do not have the required perception skills to hold a driving licence.

I had a good laugh,a while ago,the local paper had an on going article about a local intersection, where there was a high accident rate.It was controlled by Give Way signs.After months of dithering, the Council Road Safety. " EXPERTS ", came to the conclusion,that it was because drivers were ignoring the Give Way signs. . So.after many meetings, enquiries, and paying outlots of money to consultants theycame up with the solution.We will replace the Give Way signs, with STOP signs.WTF !

Because 50 % of drivers cant manage to complete a roundabout correctly ! Having seen way too many people indicate left , then turn right orindicate rightand turn left , or fail to indicate at all orpull out into traffic without giving way.

these are the drivers that should not be on the road as it proves they are not looking far enough ahead, which is a common problem that many only look a short distance of where they are driving for which makes it a danger to everyone else so yeah you maybe right in what you say but you need to look at the core of the problem

do you forget abut there being an even longer line if they crashed! I have come to so many give way intersections that you have to stop as there are cars lined up right to the intersection even along the yellow lines so you have no way of seeing if there is a car speeding towards you that will wipe you out if you carry on through, so instead of whining maybe you should be happy that people are being more careful. You will have a car pull out in front of you one day and you will think very deferentially about this topic especially if you get held up and your car is stuffed. Remember taking your time at the start will leave you less time at the end. But not taking your time at the start will leave you no time at the end or no end at all

LOL Nah, thats not a real hassle at all. How about the ppl that brake as they approach a GREEN light & sometimes even STOP on that GREEN light . YES & they DO drive on straight ahead after stopping. Seen it will all ages of ppl.
