My last WOF for my 67 falcon was in 2002 and ive had the rego on hold . To get it registered again i have to get a WOF first . Do i have to take it toVTNZ for a wof or can a normal garage give you one. I do want a safe vehicle but some of those guys are just .

cos its rego on hold you just rock up like any other WOF and get it done where-ever.
personally after sitting for ten years I would be doing all the brake cylinders again for peace of mind, as the rubber is bound to have gone hard and start leaking.

No problems, just done rear cylinders and shoes/ drums , Front discs and pads ,shocks ,new wheel bearings,balljoints ,driveshaft ,motor, gearbox ,etcTime to get it out of the shed. Its the body rubbers im worried about ,it hasn,t been in the rain for 10 years. I might sell it so might get more with it all Live.

isnt it the UV light that stuffs the rubbers! if its been away from that then it could be just fine.

unless you see phisical damage to rubbers it probably be fine.post some pics of it always interesting to see some of older cars

Rubbers usually survive indoors outdoors not so much, I wrecked a container stored rustbucket for rubbers for my car they were in good order as opposed to my car stored in the Hawkesbay sun for years.
