Hey my escudo 96 model 1600cc is running fine, apart from lacking pick up you have to really push it to get any speed out of it. Any suggestion where start looking to inprove this! Cheers

Does it still have the factory extractors or does it have replacement extractors fitted! The factory extractors give issues .

As above, the factory exhaust manifold is double skinned and can collapse internally, get a set of "extractors" fitted before it causes the head to crack or head gasket to go, these are common for it.

Drop the exhaust flange connection at the manifold and look down it. If it has collapsed you will see the restriction it has created.

Yeh I got a price supplied and installed for $465, which i didnt think was too bad
