Rules on lighting on the front of cars. My car has failed it's warrantbecause it has day light running lights from Super Cheap Autos on it. They were sold as proper kit where they turn off when your headlights come on and vice versa. Does anyone know the rules. Cheers

Do the lights have any compliance! Eg SAE, ADR or ECE!. Are they mounted as far apart (600mm plus) from each other!

A photo of the front of your vehicle showing the lights "in place" would be great (you can blank or cover the number plate if you want)

Here's the VIRM on daytime running lamps. It specifically mentions retrofitted lights, so the inspector has.made an error. Contact the manager.
