Corollas - two questions:

What's the difference between the "Allex" and the "Runx"!

And is it pronounced "Run-ex" or "Runks"!

I'm not afraid to ask the big questions.

No difference just for marketing purposes in Japan. Japan Toyota through their large vehicle range used to split the chain into several branches. One dealer sold Runx one sold Allex, only differences the grills and front badge.
Same with RAV4 J and Rav 4 L and Estima T and Estima L
As for pronunciation, personal choice. I prefer 'Runks' The Japanese like 'Lunx'

Allex is more likely to have climate control (as in you set a particular degree of temp and the car takes care of the details, in theory), and the Allex have chrome door handles (as compared to the Runx body coded door handles).

Although knowing Toyota, you can probably order anything fitted with anything else anyway!

As stated by others here, different grills too.
