Surely they could have seen this was going to happen .Even I saw this was going to happen when they allowed DOHC into the series.
Maybe it will be good and they can run at full pace and race the whole distance.

yip definatly sick of those who can aford new engines running lean then saving in the stops but i was hoping different engines would spice that up a little. just give them more tires now and the racing will be a lot closer

Didn't realise Nissan & Merc were in the comp this year as it mentions "a dislike for the high level of influence that fuel economy has had on races this season"

The others will just have to build better (more fuel efficient) engines.
Learnt technology and development that can one day be applied to their (Ford and Holden) road going cars which might help save their butt's in the market place. Because nether are doing that well atm.
