Not sure of RUC on its own but 1000km and 3 months rego for a Mistral/Terrano cost me $166 last time, if I remember correctly.

No, and it's why I'm selling my truck. I worked out that if I travel 1000km in 3 months it costs $80 more than a 2.0L Honda Accord run on 98 Octane. Then factor in costlier maintenance/services (8L oil vs 4L) and done every 5000km, the cost of big tyres. 4WD's are awesome if you can afford them and they suit a purpose for you. Commuting, not so much.

It's still cheaper than a turbo Subaru though haha

For 1000kms it costs me about $75 in diesel and $55 in RUC.

He has a Citroen 1.9 l manual its all how you drive them mind you we are both truck drivers so we know how to drive a diesel

Citroen Xsara 1.9 TD, all PSA diesels have this sort of capability the engine design goes back to the mid 80s. Later models with HDI engines are more economical due to much better torque at lower rpm

I get 5l/100km out of my mk3 golf 1.9tdi, its done 340,000km and never had any fuel addative and does not leak at all, it works out great for me as I do 30,000km a year sometimes more
