I don't know how much it's worth.

So, I recently bought a new car and opted not to go for a trade in on my current car.I've never sold a car before and dunno how to go about pricing it.It doesn't help in that it's a bit unique from others in its class in that it's a got an extra 100,000km's on the clock over similar cars (it's a 97 NZ New Maxima with 373,000km on the dial).

Mechanically it's great, drives great and over the years it's been in the family (13), it's only needed work done on the starter motor and the alternator.

Any tips on how I should go about this!

$ reserve and be thankful for every dollar you get as its worth stuff all.

List it with a high reserve for a couple of weeks to generate interest , then drop it to $1 reserve.

They are not selling for much are they! There are several at $1000 with no bids.

From what i notice this doesnt work. People see the high price and think 'dreamer'. Then everytime they see that car listed they dont even look at the price they just move on .if they havnt already bought something.

If its got a warrant and rego its worth $700 - $1000Depends where in the country it is for sale and what eles is around that area for sale. Nothing wrong with those motors, probably do another couple of years .
