i advise not to mess with it you can set off the airbags when you unplug a live circuit.

I don't want to mess with it I want the number for a replacement. My SRS light won't go off so took it to Honda and they said I'd need a new unit, so need to find the number to get a new unit so they can fit it. They quoted me $1200 for the job but said I could probably find a unit myself cheaper and they will just charge me for install

Lol @sabbath-black ;)

Cough. bulldust.

brokenbutterfly-On what basis did honda say you need a "new srs unit" !
Sorry to sound like a predant but Ive found a lot of SRS faults in older oddities and accords come back to simple wireing issues.
Do they mean the clock spring! Do they mean the air bag module or just the drivrs air bag/
-Anyhoo I'd say take it to a DECENT sparky
Before you do though--check the electrical plugs under the seats are all plugged in propperly

Honda said it was the main airbag modual! Thanks Kazbanz

ask for a print out of the scan report, most honda srs faults I come across are as others have mentioned, very rare for module to need replacing in my experience

Thanks I will justcrusin
