Has anyone else noticed the promo bp are running at the moment; you get a 5c discount off fuel when you buy a red bull can, and you can get 3 cans for $7. Filled up my car last night with around 50L and bought 45 cans which worked out to be free because the total discounts from the cans were greater than their cost! 45 can x 5c = 2.25/L discounts.x 50L = $115.50 of petrol discounted vs 45 red bull cans (45/3 for $7 = $105)
So the entire 45 cans were free and ontop of that saved $10.50 from my gas! I think they're finally onto a worthwhile discount

Ummm,If you buy three cans, they work out free also - you don't need to buy 45 cans, unless you want reeaallly big wings!

Maths hurts my brain but I really want to know how much I would save if I did the same with my diesel truck. $1.45/L. Any takers! I don't drink Redbull but I wouldn't say no to some freebies

$1.45 x 50L = $72
So really I don't save anything unless I wanted the extra Red Bulls, in which case they only cost me $2 after the discount.

With the AA card there's another $0.06/L saving in addition to the $0.05/L with the Red Bull deal.
Working it out for a diesel truck, I calculate ($1.45/L - ($0.05 + $0.06)) x 50L + $7 = $74
$1.45/L x 50L = $72
So really I don't save anything unless I wanted the extra Red Bulls, in which case they only cost me $2 after the discount.
Edit - Do you get 5c per can, so a 3 pack is actually 15c!

I think this would actually work if each can makes up 5c and you can use the deals together :D Going to try this if it is the case

Haha yeah I know that, but if you can get 45 free cans you might as well stock up

So don't spend it on 50L diesel! They'll use up all of them regardless! 98 octane only :)
