yup, I used to have a stock looking '72 Fairlane but had a warmed up big block, then an early Commodore wagon with an XU1 spec 6 & 5 speed. the amount of guys that would curse me for having a sleeper yet they would instigate any crap. Id like to do the same with my current grandad looking EL wagon (302) but need to keep on the happy side of insurance. anyway already have a few projects going that require any spare funds

1959 Mk I Jaguar with a HP327 and five speed, guys in Triumph 2.5PIs and the like used to try and blow me at the lights and end up trying to find their way through the tyre smoke.

While I DO love sleepers like that, the best 1's are those that don't reallysound all that different till it's singing hard out

It wasn't too blatant, had the little flares on the rear wheel arches and MkII diff and front beam mainly for the four wheel disc brakes and a set of 15X7 Dunlop style wheels but apart from that it was pretty tame until the smoke billowed.
