Had exhaust manifold replaced on my 97 vt holden commodore last friday on what home engine light came on and is all of a sudden running and idling really crap. He has cleaned the throttle body as well, Just wondering if there is an 02 sensor in the manifold itself or not! It kind of looks like they have just welded up my old one and put it back on, If i was having another one put on it shouldnt have needed to be welded so concerned as its really doing my head in. I have lost all power too :( please help

Sounds like youve been ripped with the manifold, and theyve rooted something else in the process. Go back and ask what the hell they did.

Have a look around for any loose wires or things not hooked back up like they should be. I hope you havent paid the bill yet.

yeah i have. costed $185.00 was ment to be a second hand exhaust manifold but there is a weld that has been done where it would normally crack so not sure if they have removed welded and put back on i had given them new gaskets for it also but they have used the glue aswell very un tidy had a second opinion and they reckon i have been ripped off to so im not to sure. Does the exhaustmanifold have an oxygen sensor in it !

Id tak it bak indemand a new manifold ,check un plug re plug an wires connected to throttle body also check vacume hose is on proply both ends ,futher done pipe check mayb 02 sensor make sure was pluged in proply
