Having trouble finding a copper item i need for a project but can find plenty of stainless items around. Question is, would copper plating adhere to stainless steel! Next question is where would i get copper plating done! I've read quite a bit on how to copper plate things yourself but i can't be bothered, i'd rather pay to get the required result.

Cant see a problemjustsee an electroplater he can put them in tankwhen he has enoughitems to justify running it.might needseveralcoats

They can do it with copper plated stainless steel saucepans which you use on a stove (harsh environment), so definitely possible and very robust.
