Yeah.you did. Shouldn't need a wheel alignment for fitting new shocks, but in saying that, why not. New shocks, wheel align = new car (o:

You will need a wheel alignment as the front struts have to be removed which upsets the camber settings. I'd go for a set of Monroe Sensa-Tracs or GT Gas Reflex.

gentlemen i took the front struts out dismantled them and the top cover bearings fell out and are now all over the man cave floor, all 92 of them can i just buy thebearing top and bottom race with bearings as a sealed unit.

Yes you can buy the upper strut bearing. Common thing to happen - the bearings aren't sealed etc & stones & grit get up in there & also the hammering the bearings get, stuffs them. Your local Holden dealer should carry them in stock - we carry & sell them at work & we're not a Holden dealer. Also check to see if you have the foam rings up where the strut sits.if you have check to see if they are ok & if nothing there get them as well. They help stop the stones & grit getting to the bearing.
