Tuk Tuk's in NZ

debulebule, Dec 16, 5:49pm
Hey team!

Just curious if anyone is aware what they're classed as here in NZ. I'm looking at an 800cc model, importing it. Not for commercial purposes. But it's by a company that prepares them all up to euro regulations. Does anyone know how much it'd take to get it road legal for our beautiful country! I tried google, but I'm useless and gave up staring at this small smart phone screen. Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers, Callum

There was one operating here in Dunedin for some time. Was owned by the people who own the Commodore motel . If you were to make contact with them they should be able to give you some info, he's a ex car salesman.

I have a feeling that now they can't be complied - frontal impact and all that crap.Ring your local compliance centre and ask is best option.
