Overalls - Where from?

40wav, Dec 17, 7:35pm
I need a good pair of overalls for the workshop because I'm sick of getting burnt from welding and grinding sparks. The ones I have now are thin(ish) and not up to the task. Where do you get yours and what's everyones opinion on what's best please! Cheers. Also - I hope you all have a happy and safe holiday season.

drycleaner usually sell old overalls

Ring Alsco. They should have a branch in your area & may sell older overalls. Or BOC gases or similar sell them. Warehouse may have Bisley ones!

Any safety equipment wholesaler/retailer (e.g. NZ Safety) sells overalls.

Try your local outlet.

Good luck.

just make sure you get 100% cotton ones. Yeap, drycleaners or commercial laundry companies are often the go because they get replaced before they are stuffed. New pairs of 100% cotton are often upwards of $100

I went with NZTS last time. Two pair 100% cotton, one for the garage, one for the track. $40 all up I think, pretty good condition too.

+1, not the cheapest out there but some of the best quality.

Great, Thanks for all the replies. I dont mind paying for them, I'm just sick of sparks through the sleeves. Knees are worn through and ripped now too from kneeling on hot mig spatter. Will have a look at Yakkashop, cheers.
smac - What is NZTS please! Cheers.
