Needing a power steering pump for a 97 odyssey does anyone know if one from a 95 or 96 will fit.

Thank you, also one more question, if I disconnected the belt from the pump to drive the car to the garage will there be any danger of steering ceasing up or it there any chance it will it cause further damage

Whats the reason for replacement,is it leaking and/or making noises. Have you had a quote to have your one rebuilt.

Yep I agree, I 'rebuilt' the one in my Ford for $17.00 (seal kit).
I should probly say I had to buy a special tool to get the pulley off for 70 or 80 dollars, but was still cheaper than anything else.

Well it was making a noise and had to use it yesterday to go pick up a bearing for it as I narrowed it down to the pulley bearing but while I was out it crapped itself and started spilling power steering fluid all over the place so guessing its stuffed now. Also if anyone can recommend who would rebuild them in chch!

Just call Strong Honda or All Cars etc, they should have a second hand one cheap enough
