Who is doing what! I am going to shorten a opel manta disc brake diff by 50mm for my boys Chuvit. It will allow the tyres to clear the rear gaurds. The only problem I may run into is the axles may need to be shortened by 25mm if there is not enough spline to let me 25mm of each 1. I have heard there are places that heat the axle enough to compress the axle length wise ideally making them 25m shorter. Does anyone know who does this sort of work in the south island. Many Thanks.

Royce Clive Engineering in Sockburn are one that springs to mind Don. They have done many stockcar axles over the years. Mind you dont know if they heat & shorten - more cut & weld etc

Mounting fibreglass air dam and bonnet on the race car. One of those pain in the arse jobs because I havn't got any solid plans how I want to mount the air dam. The bonnet is easier

changed my rocker cover from after market back to original "Power by Ford" ones and a few other things to tidy up under the bonnet. Mostly done now so I'm getting bored around home. Might go to Waiheke Island (for New Years) and/or start back at work early.

Fixed the prelude problems, so finishing that off finally I hope then doing more skids in it.
