Just wondering if anyone could suggest any freight companies that offer a good deal for transporting a vehicle from Christchurch to the North Island.
Any help would be much appreciated, cheers.

Drive it ! I spent a bloody fortune having car fully rebuilt. Left here on the back of a truck running beautifully, arrived in Otago 3 days later with bits missing, looking like it had been rallying and wouldn't go at all.

The very best way is with Toll Auto Express, forget the rest.

Thanks for that. And yes I have considered driving it and think this is what I might go with as from what I can come up with it looks like it would probably cost about the same as getting it transported.

Costs about the same, just the time factor. Also, if you join nzcruiser group, you get ferry discount.

We used Toll, wish we hadn't, the car was late, damaged and turned up with another company. Not very happy at all.

Drive it looks like the safest option then. At least if you drive it and it gets damaged it's your own fault.

I thought Jeffs specialised in transporting cars from exotic, old & ordinary! they used to!

They do, but their level of service and security does not go close to matching Toll Auto Express.

How do you join the nzcruiser group for the discount on the ferry!
In looking at doing the same - buying in Auckland due to a greater range of cars and driving back - any other ferry discount codes/vouchers/tricks!
Thanks!

Best deal and service I have found is Toll autoexpress.

Just go to their website and join. Then ring to book the ferry quoting the code found on the website.
