Looking for two plain narrow (4.5") 13" steel rims to fabricate a couple of wheels, anyone know of who sells these please!.

what about some old school ones which have riveted centres!

try twl

Yes, thought about that, any idea of what car this size would be on to help narrow down the search!.

Thanks, theirs are too wide for me and I'd like to avoid parting them and welding them if I can

I think Mk I Cortinas were 4.5 wide. If you grind the heads off the rivets you should be able to punch them out.

Thanks, Google confirmed you are dead right, cheers, now to find two.

I don't think I would use any homemade wheel rims on any trailers these days except for onfarm use only.

http://www.trojan.co.nz/wheels-tyre-tubes-c-81_83.html TRS don't list a 13, but a 13 might be an unlisted dimension for their centreless rims. http://www.trstyreandwheel.co.nz/products/customwheel/blankcentrelessrims/

I guess you know how to gas out a centre and put in a new centre disc.

Most are welded. Just find the right wheels and a mate with a lathe.
