Anyone have an idea as to what it would cost to bore out a 5cyl block from 81mm to 82.5mm!

I'd guestimate 120 or thereabouts a hole-however- 60 thou is about max oversize on a lot of blocks due to wall thickness. Also i would recommend having the oversize pistons measuredand the cylnders bored to the actual piston rather than just a book sizing

Can't you bore it a bit smaller than 1.5 (0.060)!

Yes pistons would be measured first. I just wanted to give some figures. But if im paying $1100us for 5 pistons I expect them to be perfect.
Block can be easily taken to 82.5. 83 is on the limit

If your spending $1100 for pistons,you should get it torque plate bored/honed which costs a bit more.
