Link where he said he wasn't returning please! All I saw was that he was taking a break. Interested to see quote of not returning. No ST dates clash this season btw and he doesn't do dirt bikes so should be no issues there.

There ya go, done deal. Good on him, he's a young fella that just wants to race & can't be faffed with the BS that comes with being in a "factory" team. I was a fan when he was in a Ford and will be a fan with him in a Holden.
This article did'nt say he was'nt returning but said he did not wish to race for another v8 supercar team,must have had a big change of mind over the 6 week break.
"I am leaving V8 Supercars due to personal reasons which I do not wish to discuss in the public domain. I will be moving back home to New Zealand and have no fixed plans for the future," he said.
"Contrary to media reports, I do not wish to race for another V8 Supercar team and my decision to leave the sport has in no way been caused by Ross and Jimmy's decision to switch manufacturers (Ford to Mercedes Benz AMG) in 2013 or the teams partnership with Erebus Motorsport."
Good luck to shane with his new team . Could have done the swap a little better than the lies and bs but whats done is done. One less SVG fan .
