well anyways, thanks everyone for your support - someone's laid a complaint and my thread was removed - guess someone's batting for the enemy. cheers to all those who helped me with the mini project - it was a really important goal personally for me to achieve. and I did it. time to move on.All the good luck wishes for my kids are greatly appreciated. :-)

I can see there coming a time soon when enough posters here will multiple email trademe about the removal of things that they(as a community voice of self-moderation) feel actually are in the Public Interest and have a RIGHT to be here. What is needed is the combined voice of MANY against the voice of the *complainant*
Sad to see your thread removed. And incidentally in YOUR case- perhaps a talk to the police re the charges and the position of the victims as a charge of extortion respectively may well be seen as intimidation. Thus allowing you to keep your mini And not need a lawyer.

thanks snoopy. it's all very messy with these kids being "police witnesses", this is just a game of intimidation and an attempt to scare them off. sadly, the police cannot give advise - because they are separate incidents so to speak, but obviously related.they need a lawyer to basically stop the proceedings. until the trial is dealt with.it all seems quite bizzare, but how often in today's society do we see this sort of thing where the victims have to pay to protect themselves. it's already cost me over 3k to protect my young son -unfortunately while the police are well aware of what is going on - it is up to the justice system (court) to deal with it - hense the need for a decent lawyer.
Respectively when the forum is *motoring* And the poster has only EVER posted about the vehicle.
Given the situation and circumstance i do NOT view the thread as self promoting
I see it as about the . Vehicle in motoring.
And the *blue face* is for the prat that complained.
A lot of posters here are using the blue face for the same reason.

Wait till you get the warning email.bahahaha, you can almost see where the pimples were squeezed on it haha. I recently had to put my dear old mother into care and advertised her corgi. I was inundated with calls and placed her with a lovely family. After the sale I changed the wording of the advert to thank all the people for contacting me and telling them the dog was on a weeks trial-rehoming and would be re-advertised if it did not work out, I got a warning email and my advert pulled poste haste, no morals there. Good luck with your quest but stop kicking yourself, s##t happens, you cannot be everywhere, cheers Nev.

Go see the Court Registrar and ask politely if the *proceedings* can be stayed(rescheduled)UNTIL after the trial. Explain the situation to the registrar- and ask if you can simply go home and put it all in writing and return with a printed copy and sign a *Statutory Declaration* The registrar may present your written reasons to the Judge for perusal and the Judge
May well rescheduleOkay.
That will cost you NOTHING.

Top right of the screen, I think you have to contact customer support for that.

They haven't been arrested yet. my daughter has had a message left on her phone by a detective in a different area. smart move. so the CIB dealing with the abuse case don't know what's going on in a different area and visa versa . unless they look deeper into the files. somehow I doubt this mongrel rocked up to a police station and said look, " I abused these kids for years, and I've been arrested and facing a trial by jury, but I want them arrested for blackmail" mmmmthe big issue being I think (and the other kids parents) think it's terribly important that they get legal advise before they say anything to the police. seems crazy that the police can't put 2 and 2 together with something like this. well they can, but they're not allowed too.we can't have the trial jeopardised by this coming to the forefront -I'm positive that's what a lawyer would ask the court for - but they need to talk to a lawyer before they make a statement to police, and of course they are most likely entitled to their victim support people as well.

mmkay. So for your peace of mind they have a right to have a lawyer present to speak to before and during any statement.
And otherwise they simply have to give the police their name adress and date of birth. Nothing Else. And the police have a list of on call FREE lawyers if they want any more words spoken.
seems crazy that the police can't put 2 and 2 together
They're cops unless they are adding figures on a speeding ticket don't credit them with too much intelligence.

you're right Snoopy, they are entitled to free legal advise - I've just seen so much turn to shit with stuff like this in the past - and don't want to take any chances. best case scenario we don't need the money from the sale of the mini for a lawyer, but it will go a long way to helping my daughter with urgent dental care she needs (2K). she's just spent 1500 on some work. sad part is she's always had impeccable teeth. they are crapping out due to stress.
