it's a little different to a "House Purchase" which must be parked on a section or in a yard somewhere. A "homebuyer" is someone who may partake in a "House Purchase" but currently resides on the street, or at least I think that's what it is!

I would say it was totally dependent on local council bylaws and probably only answered by them.

If it reg/cof etc and parked legal you should be able to leave in on the street for ever.

unless its like the people at the end of the street who parked really close to a bend even though there is no yellow lines it was a stupid place to parktook about 3 weeks before a truck hit it and it ended smashed in the rear in the middle of the road with no sign of truck it didnt stop they have since replaced car and are parking there again

True but thats only required in insufficent street lighting I think. These days with LED lights you could pop a light on the back and run it for weeks without the battery going flat.
Would one of thoses flashing tail lights from a pushbike be legal as a night lite!
