it on the road, eventhough Id have preferred to see it doing warp 9 rather than slow cruising it was still cool (& better than just sitting in a garage for sure). First time in 3 years Ive seen it since the day after my 'mate' sold it & it was way ahead on the motorway. Said to the missus it was mine & she couldnt believe I recognised from that distance considering how many Buckets are out there. Caught up & had a look as I went past but didnt want to ogle too long. Anyone else seen cars that youve owned, sort of wished you didnt have to let go but still smile when seeing them!

All of my old favorites seem to just disappear off the face of the Earth. Studebaker 56 transtar V8 3spd.pick-up, baby blue & next to mint. Chevrolet 77 Scotsdale, SWB sports side, 4x4, factory 400, turbo 350, white. Those are the main two that come to mind & I'd like to know what happened to them.
We used to see one around West Auckland. I rode my bicycle up to the woman driving it when we were stopped at the lights. She found out a few more good points about it. We've not seen it around for a couple of years now.

If you ever get the chance to actually drive one of your old cars, don't.
If you've moved on to more modern cars, it very soon becomes obvious why you sold that old bomb. They're horrid things to drive. Even a 10 year old car feels dated and tired if you drive newish cars.
Of course, if you actually enjoy old cars, the reason not to take the chance to drive it would be that you'd be wanting it or something like it again. Marital disharmony may ensue.
