Why hasn't this been snapped up?

! am I missing something! 2 piles of scrap that may, or may not, with an awful lot of work, make something that runs. Never ceases to amaze me what people will pay for in NZ.

Yes, you're missing that to ride this would be very cheap. $100 per year rego. Lams approved bike. Honda reliability. Spare parts on tap. Engine only done 26K. What's not to like!

Nah, I just keep a keen eye on 30+ year old bikes. They don't seem to last long on here, generally. I'd like to buy something like this myself. Is it too far gone to muck with!

Based on the smaller Honda CB I had, its probably a really nice bike too, and like you say very usable.
Not sure how that compares pricing wise though, I don't really follow them at all nowadays.

I'd say you could probably get a going bike out of it without too much expense but if you want it to look the part you are in for big expense.Chrome work is not a cheap process.
Is the rego dead if so more bother/expense.
