Just purchased a Suzuki swift from a car yard, only given one key, my family said the got two when they brought theirs, does any one know if you should be given two, if not how do I go about getting another!

Yes make sure you have two, otherwise will be a expensive experience if you lose your key. When they programme in a new key you have to have two for the car to un immobilise itself.

Do you mean a key and the remote thing is classed as one key or take the key out of the black remote thing! Are the sales yard obligated to give you two remote things! Sorry if I sound dumb but this is all new to me.

My suggestion would be to ask the dealer whom you bought the car from , they will know !

If it's an electronic key I would expect to get two.By key I meanthe key and the remote.Something you should have checked before doing the deal IMHO.See if the dealer will help you but i fear you might be in for a bit of a shock when you find out the cost of that second set.
Whatever you need to get that second set NOW.Its much more expensive if you lose the set you have and have to start afreash.
