Is this dear - mechanix your thoughts ?

ringo2, Feb 13, 3:20pm
NO. IMHO $62.10 per hour for labour is very, very reasonable and the time taken is also reasonable.

red97, Feb 13, 3:21pm
looks ok
fair bit of work done
labour seems reasonable

mm12345, Feb 13, 3:21pm
Yep - it should have cost about $30 more - he forgot to charge you for the two new wiper blades he fitted.

xpfairmont, Feb 13, 3:25pm
What, no wheel alignment!
but otherwise seems about right, maybe could of given the bulbs for free.

popeye333, Feb 13, 3:28pm
Fit and balance is $37-10 its on there.

I think its reasonable when you consider the cost of the warrant test would be in that labour cost too

thunderbolt, Feb 13, 3:29pm
If this is a workshop invoice, who has rent, power, gst, ACC and insurances to pay, the hourly rate is not high enough.

If this is a cash job with an invoice made up on a PC without a spell check, the labour rate is too high.

The time taken is more than reasonable.

xpfairmont, Feb 13, 3:29pm
Fit and balance is not an alignment.

popeye333, Feb 13, 3:33pm
Probably included it in the labour.

Sadly parts cost the earth these days especially for fords.Id consider it a fair bill.

b1anca, Feb 13, 7:28pm
cool thank you for that.

saxman99, Feb 13, 8:25pm

Kingstar

incar., Feb 13, 9:30pm
then you have been charged a good rate.

gadgit3, Feb 14, 5:19am
Do you expect a free mars bar when you go to the super market too!
Why should the bulbs be free! The bill looks to cheap to me I don't know any workshop that could survive on that labour rate and it would seam the wiper refils were free.
