boo hoo, no cry babys here, got offered a 97spacio, from a towing yard, they towed it in dec2012 looked ok, couldn't start flat battery, not to bad, broken tailight, a dent in r/r by tailight, broken quarterlite, got home charged the battery, very clean under bonnett except, down by filler bottle, a little rusty water spray my theiry is broken cambelt, you can get a whole revolutionthen it jams reverse that and it jams again just going to scrappy it now cause no way i can fiddle with all those lil clips and connections, sad really i thought we might have snuck one in but no nature prevailed and we got got lol

Sounds like a waste of a car to me.I'd be at least pulling the belt covers off and checking it wasn't the remains of the belt causing the jamming.Although rusty water spray could mean its suffered from many years of Toyota Slob Syndrome and not been maintained, of course this is why the belts gone in the first place.Your choice.

no won't be out of pocket if the scrappy claims it, it was a good punt but it just aint worth anymore attention, had to try the last car she got thru the towing cost her 9 bux for change of ownership, and shes had a good six years out of it now so worth the punt even tho this was a little more
