I think they will wait for him to step into the car for first practice before they proceed with legal action. He hasnt "raced" for techno yet

In breach of contract, I suppose he thoughtfact SBRchanged handsmeantdidnt have to abide by the contract anymore . SBR pulled him from obscurity&put a lot into him, like an apprentice, thendecidesto go elsewhere .

rumour has it , Shane was approached by holden before he signed the SBR contract. Holdens Simon mcNanumnuts let slip in a tweet. SBR still own the REC for car #9 .

It's looking dodgy - very poor form from Shane.

Good to see Fabian tell it like it is. Seems the other drivers didnt like being lied to either.

Bad luck. He's out there racing. LOL.

Last year up at Townsville he was told he couldn`t drive for the Supertourers etc and lots of people were p.ed off so was he. He now drives for a team and sponsors that let him do extra driving. I think things got bad in the team after that and remember whatShane Drake said last year that Shane was not the only one unhappy in that team. He is young and wants more, that is why Marcos Ambrose left because there wasn`t enough racing. Bairdo said that he was hoping to get a driver Lee Holdsworth to partner him in Supertourers and that didn`t happen either. Add to that the Merc change, I think they shat on him first.

It is 'practice' day. Fancy that. You know nothing except what your own jealous little mind that makes stories up for bedtime. LOL.

Don't forget Jimmy Stone left as well after Bathurst. Says it all really.

your mum tells the best bedtime stories.
Im saying maybe they cant serve the notice, because its not offical "racing" in legal terms.

Did Shane sign a contract to drive a Ford or a contract to drive for Stone Brothers or some other iteration !
mopsy3,
Mar 1, 1:57pm
Stone Brothers. Which no longer exists.
mopsy3,
Mar 1, 1:59pm
Must be why SP Tools supported him karting, dirt tracking and quad biking last year. Same with Monster Energy. Sponsors want their stars driving and putting their name in the public arena not sitting wrapped in cotton wool except for a few days a year.
twink19,
Mar 1, 2:36pm
well he is out on the track at the moment, even with the Mercs, & Nissan, they still all look the same
kayjoh,
Mar 1, 2:50pm
I understand that but racing is their career so let them race and keep them happy especially the young guys without families to go home to. Anyway us here in NZ get to see them on our own tracks so it`s a win win for us, not sure why some in here are moaning.
