Just been looking at a ute on Turners and on the CINto the question where was it first registered it says "Not Known" - is that allowed!

Could it be a NZ new model rather than an import 2nd hand!

last place i buy acar from is turners everyone has to give awarranty and new wofs on cars sold but they dont. so good luck you need loads of it

I've seen that previously too. It is likely that it has been de-registered. Cheers

I see Turners have a Buy Now facility on some of their cars. So if someone buys one at the fixed price, and it shits itself in a month, the CGA must apply!

I've bought several cars from Turners over the years andnever once been disappointed. The no.1. Rule is never ever buy on impulse - if its going cheap there is usually a reason that almost everybody else knows! . Always prior inspectanything you bid on.

heh -intended to discourage you from pursuing compensation via CGA, with "cover all" exclusions such as:

" the Vehicle is complicated machinery that may contain defects which are realised post-sale and this has been taken into by account by the Purchaser"

Then later, the clause that they're not "contracting out" of the CGA.

There's no doubt that most of the T&C are there to try to convince you, in case you do go back to them with a problem, that you've agreed to "contract out" of your CGA rights.

Turners are a registered dealer , if you buy now all CGA is applicable. If you buy under the hammer you will struggle with CGA.

It is against the law to contract out of CGA
