I am in Palmy. Tell me the name and address of your mate down here so I can nip next door and tell the dude that he is living by a busy body who went behind his back (great neighborly love there) and narked him into plod for something that was none of her business.

lusty9, Feb 22, 7:21pm
I left them both arguing and came back to Hastings, so the neighbour is well aware of the situation

trouser, Feb 22, 7:27pm
From ngaruawahia!

kdcentralni, Feb 22, 7:38pm
So thats that then thread finished!

trogedon, Feb 22, 7:56pm

lusty9, Feb 22, 8:12pm

trogedon, Feb 22, 8:26pm
About 2 1/2 hours actually.

lusty9, Feb 22, 8:29pm
thought so, so why did you even bother to post! Trolling I suspect.maybe!

trogedon, Feb 23, 5:17am
Not Trolling. Trog-ging.

I once shared an office with a car rental company, they often had cars returned with bald tyres fitted, parts swapped over and even engine changes, its not that un common for rogues to do that sort of stuff.

bmwnz, Feb 24, 5:30am
It may not be uncommon, but it is surely a criminal activity!

kazbanz, Feb 24, 10:56am
Lusty There are two possible senarios here.
First -That with or without the dealers knowledge the neighbour has used the parts from the dealers car as a diagnostic TOOL.
Its a very common practice within the motor industry.Provided the dealers car parts were put back into the origonal car I see no big foul.
_I must say that if it wasn't with the dealers permission then its naughty.-I sure as heck wouldn't like that done to me.
On the other hand if the guy test drove the car to his house specifically to swap the parts without the dealers permission then that definititely is 100% theft.
But you need to be darn sure you have your facts straight

elect70, Feb 24, 1:40pm
Ha ha reminds me of mate who wanted to borrow some $ to do up hisexpiredMk 3 zeph , so he borrowed a mates Mk 3 swapped plates drove that toMarac Finance & got the $thenswapped the plates back agian . Things we did.

lusty9, Feb 24, 7:10pm
what facts are there! Only one fact, the neighbor tooks part and put his parts back in the dealer car, we watched him and then my friend asked and he point blank said yes and don't tell. So what are the facts I ask! tell me

neville48, Feb 24, 7:28pm
So next time when somebodys neighbour has a wee child on the clothes line or beating them to death ,they better not "nark" or you will tell the neighbour all about it, good on ya mate, no wonder "plod" is always in the wrong huh!

bigfatmat1, Feb 24, 8:02pm
how bout comparing apples with apples not apples with penises

neville48, Feb 24, 8:16pm
Same dumb attitude that ends up with. oh yes ,we heard the screams but thought they were having fun.we saw the bruises but kids will be kids, not comparing apples with anything just hate the word nark and hate people with their heads in the sand.

bigfatmat1, Feb 24, 8:27pm
you are compairing possible petty crime with violent crime difference its like saying because i did not ring the police because someone dropped their rubbish. This will lead to worse behaviour from me & I will not ring the police when a little girl in the park is getting raped. Do you think these are likely scenarios. Seems you arequick to judge people.

1ollie, Feb 24, 10:35pm
Who cares that there is another place somewhere down south of the real world that has a similar name. Palmerston North is Palmerston to most people haha get over it ya silly buzzards no one cares just use ya head as no one talks about Palmerston South anyway! geez you guys are like the spelling police on here haha

lusty9, Feb 25, 12:33pm
thanx for your input, I genuinely didn't know there were two towns with the same name however, Palmerston North is known by many as you have stated. thanx once again

kazbanz, Feb 25, 12:38pm
Facts-geee I can't think of many
First do YOU know for fact that the dealer isn't well aware of what happened! -or is it heresay!

trader_84, Feb 25, 1:10pm
Yeah cheers Mat. Geezus Nev - there is a bit of difference there. Get a grip bro!

neville48, Feb 25, 7:09pm
Its not the act but the attitude I was commenting on. Crime is crime, a burglar is a burglar no matter if he takes scrap metal or a brand new car, the more people put the old cranium up the back passage and say nothing ,the worse crime gets and the degeneration of society increases by the day, just look around the country today compared with 20 years ago. The original "alledged' crime here is petty but we have people ready to rubbish someone for speaking up, if you do not like this then turn your back , but listen carefully for whats behind you because no-one may speak up to warn you.

moosie_21, Feb 25, 7:19pm
haha, Palmerston North, no one that lives there calls it that! Spelling police from Auckland I'm guessing. It's known as Palmy to everyone there (or blackhole of the universe to me, hate it!). Get over yourselves.
