I have a Hyandai Lantra station wagon. 1.8 auto1998. Driving to work and back in peak hour traffic,and driving around the city area during the day. Using91( $ 90aprox360km) Is this good milage !

And the litres consumed was.! No point in quoting dollars used, its meaningless as the price is moving around all the time and fuel consumption patterns can't be measured.

its quite a bit thats about 11 liter per 100km most good economy 2.0 liter car will do 8.5 liter per 100km. i wonder when it was last serviced and what year is the vehicle if its older it be a semi-clone-junk-mitsubisheap. Things that cost fuel are bad old aircleaner , faulty o2 lambda sensor and never doing oil changes. plus running on 91 when the vehicle is made to run 96 octane

Wow, my manual bluebird 1.8$90 to fill, 600ks, daily comute 80ks on Motorway at 2am and returning at Midday.

11 litres per 100km sounds ok to me. It is all peak hour traffic, stop start around town driving.
