He's not on the main trunk line, you can see he's outside of the power line pylons that sit over the tracks, he's over in the steam train restoration engineering yard

go and have a look you can see the Tyre marks that where leftby the rear wheels and where they have rubbed on the tracks etc we did

MABY just MABY he had permission! Ive done a fair bit of work for kiwirail, delevering track maintance machines and delevering stuff to new bridges being buit and have needed permission from the train controller to cross tracks a number of times.
