Currently my car has vtnz wof and rego. all stock standard rb20e 1989 auto.
if converting to rb25de (from c34 laurel) and auto trans will cert be needed!
They use the same mounts, both motors are stock etc.

yes cert needed because you have increased displacement. There is a NZ skyline forum on the internet, thats probably your best source of information. Id say the main differences will be in things like wiring plugs, so make sure you have at least the engine half of the loom Why not put a manual in!

Because you've played the poor student card, allow me to retort with the grumpy adult card.
Get a 3 cylinder daihatsu and concentrate on your studies. Leave the car modifying to someone with more dollars than sense.

Yep while you're doing the conversion, put a slot in the roof.so you can drop any money you get straight into the car.bottomless pit.

Nah buy a twin turbo Subaru instead, no need to cut a slot in the roof as theres already a factory one in the bonnet just for that purpose.
