I wonder if PE is prepared to cover the OP's court costs to take it to court!
It's a pretty poor reflection on our society that someone would think the seller could be forced into following through from a genuine error

I'm wiling to accept that it was an "error" to list the car originally with a $1 buy now. BUT now to relist with a $1 reserve is deliberate and says to me "I'm willing to sell this car for $1" !. if the auction goes the ful course and a person wins it with a $1 bid, then the OP has a very good case to have the first auction outcome honoured.
