Fantastic all right. Not sure about the $4.95 per metre Mitre 10 polypropylene waterproof carpet on the rear floor though. You'd want to have an eye for detail to own or work on a car like that, and that is indicative that something ain't right.

Front and back look like they are from different Era's (or should that be errors as far as the back is concerned !)

Interesting question being asked

That is hideous. As stated that looks like 2 cars joined together and not very well at that either. The doors don't match, and the back end looks like it's off a '54 Humber Super Snipe

Carjam says it has had 12 number plates! Wow, that's a record for me.

Only good thing going for it is that it is largely a genuine RR of 1948. So someone with skills and/or money could fix all the wrongs and have an interesting classic.
As it is it looks wrong, but it is saveable.

I think you mean that the radiator looks like it is the only genuine part. There is nothing like it if you search google. Unless it was specially ordered by a high country farmer.

As the questioner states - Daimler rear end. Its the doors or lack of doors that get me. No fatties required.
No wasser6, that is not what I mean. It is your view that the radiator is the only genuine part, I based my comment on information stated in the auction mentioned in post 1.
"It is definately a wraith. The bonnet, grille and chassis are. It was originally bodied as a hearse and imported by Ken Hogg who had the car museum in Waihi. I think he just stuck the Daimler bits on from an old regency he had to make the car useable."
With full RR mechanical components and from dash forward it is much more than "just a genuine radiator".

If the back bumper looked the same as the front bumper, it wouldn't look so much like a Daimler!
