Sagging springs?

Here's one for ya
Just did the front spring seats on a Volvo 850 and after driving it decides to lower itself, but after a while it comes back up to normal ride height.
The springs are almost binding on themselves when this happens.
Shocks seem okay and they wouldn't make such a difference anyway.

Sagging/cracked/weak springs!

describe thesuspension type! i thought these had an air assist type
if strut type check for a bent shaft.

Volvo 850 is just standard macpherson strut at the front and delta-link trailing arms in the rear - no air to be seen.

Yup as Phillip said.
Some wagons had Nivomat self leveling rear, but mine is a sedan.

take it to phillip then

I think he's a bit far away

I'll just throw new shocks/springs at it. May as well, it's all OEM and it's done 190k. Doesn't cost a heap to do either
