Don't be put off. I'm assuming you like the 300C in general, and your question is more specific, concerning the diesel.
I've had several 300C's as long-term test drivers (including a week in a SRT Wagon.) and late in 2011, during an industry road trip, took a 300C Diesel from Christchurch to Dunedin, then around town, then half-way back north again. I was prepared to be underwhelmed, but it turned out to be a pretty stonking good driver- huge reserves of torque (and not bad power either, but it's torque you really feel in a diesel) and the engine note isn't bad either- it actually sounded good. And fair flew too- we were convoying a batch of cars south, running VERY late, including a new Jag XF-R, BMW 530 Diesel etc, the 300C not only kept up, but had the legs to pass too. Cruised all day quite happily too.
They're an older diesel (Mercedes-sourced) and not as refined as the new generation, just like the car really (an E-class platform) but if those are concerns, you're missing the point of the 300C. They're really comfortable cars to drive, if not a little intimidating, not badly built (depends on the factory I suspect) and good value for money in general, if you buy wisely.
Yeah, it drinks a bit. And!
Hope this helps a little bit.

They are a statement Car like look at me just dont go put 20 inch rims and tint it out like most of them haha

When an SRT comes with 20" rims standard, that will be difficult. But yep. know what ya mean, saw one on 24" the other day. It looked sick, literally. The ride must have been awful. (FYI - every car is a statement).
As for OPs question, can't help you with the Diesel but fully recommend an SRT8. They are just great to drive and very comfortable for passengers. I normally average 16 to 17 ltrs round Auckland. Longhaul comes down to 12 to 13. I can't fault the build quality.yet.
I went for a play in the new SRT8 the other day, its growing on me.

Cheers westwyn, and Edangus. I think I ill roll with it, I like the statement of it, and I will put 20 SRT wheels on it, and tint it for sure. I have no issues with a car with road presence, big boys toys. Good thing we don't all have the same taste in cars, or women hahaha Cheers for your comments ppl.
Nice work.

C'mon its a Multipla, its OK to buy if you are blind. But every car makes a statement. I enjoy driving a vehicle that looks like a POS because people judge you poorly. Little FWD hatches have their place, Big 4WD also do to. Massive 8s 10's and 12s do too. Every car makes some form of statement, because we are always judging people. I used to love rocking around in my Multicoloured KE20, fantastic car, easy to park etc. Plus I didn't care if it got scratched or hit (which it did twice) just repair it (cheaply) and move on. the fact that it had a 4AGE in it and could get up and go was irrelevant. It really looked like a dog.
