What amazes me is that Holden claim the Cruze is the top selling "SMALL" car in nz.I though small cars were Sirions and the like. Cruze is quite a bit bigger.Unless Holden are using performance to categorise Small cars

Really confirms to me that manufacturers are making too many models and too many silly unneeded variations of these models for different markets. In the whole bottom half of that list none of them are selling more than 22000 units each, that can't possibly be economic. Some surprises in there, F series Ford, Dodge Ram and Chevy Silverado still comfortably in the top 50, fuel is clearly still too cheap in North America.

A new model was released in the US last year, but not anywhere else it seems. The US got the Avalon because they didn't have the Crown or any other larger family sedan than the Camry.

Some of those models have been out of production a while now - Fiat Croma, Lexus SC, Maxda RX-8, Ferrari F430, Cadillac BLS, Acura CSX, Mitsubishi Grandis, Proton Savvy, Ford Crown Victoria and I'm sure a few more, other were only on sale for the last part of the year (Fiat 500L)
