tried helping some Aucklanders out when they got there AWD van stuck out te arai beach, just before xmas.
they are now paying my insurance company for a new tailgate and bumper.nuff said :p

joe average citizen takes it on themselves to remove vehicles without confirming with the owners first! - thats risky.
Lucky they arent facing fines for potential leakage of contaminants as well as much heftier removal fees though too I guess

If you look at the story on Facebook at the Otago daily times page, the comments from people that were there tell what really happened, sound a lot different than the poor me story that has been reported.
