Does anyone know how to assemble the front forks and front wheel to the forks, I have a box of bits to try and put this part of the bike back together.

blimey your lucky to have one of those! , i just googled [nsu max parts view] & picked on a reasonably useful link about halfway down the first google page. Otherwise just click images & keep looking till something comes up. I see you're palmy--just before dark i picked up a complete car windscreen rubber on no1 line end of tremain ave just before you head up the ramp. Curled up [big] in middle of south bound lane. Could see the headlines tomorrow--scooter/m/cyclist wiped out by this, same goes for bits of damn wood on the road--Ahhhggg. Sorry, carry on & goodluck.
