Be sweet sounding wouldn't it - more raced worked sound than a clubsport ?

Sounds like your one (with the "R-Spec" suspension) is what all the FG> GT's should have had from the start. Never been in one of them but are a bit of a "pudding" compared to the HSV's according to reviews , or are the HSV's overly firm for normal driving ?

its the firing order that makes them sound good.

Put a lumpy cam in a ls3 then you get a nice v8 rumble

Sure does turn them around - but still does lacks the Horn factor Fords 32 Valves plays a symphony compared to the chevy tuba
Use to have neighbours across the road with V8's - one had a droney LS1 - almost annoying, especially cause he had the idle dialed right up, when other neighbour fired his 5.4 Ford up and fanged down the street it was - Ooh Yeahh !
Guess whatever you into - I like the worked race sound !

One of my neighbours has a new supercharged GT and the other has a late model HSV with some mods, and neither are afraid to give it some jandal. They are both awesome in their own way!

Yeah even a lexus v8 can sound nice with good set of pipes on it

Yeah thought about some of the horny sounding LS have heard on youtube after posted - old skool lumpy sound. Give it to Ford in that it comes out of the factory sounding so good but more parts to replace when craps itself compared to the bowtie. Take either.

Yes the fords do have a less angry v8 rumble its revs to fast boss xr8 ba with aftermarket exhaust to dam quiet

Yep more mid to top end howl with the ford - ex neighbour BA was ample for loudness - struck right setup somehow. Mate with a worked old skool 350 said he was impressed with a late model holden ute that was beside him at the lights - "It sounded just like mine" Yeah like you said cam cam cam :)

I Would rather have a fpv f6 310 even though it has less power its faster costs less to modify and doesnt cost alot to get to 400 kw

As a spectator, V8 coons always seem a little more grown-up than V8 Holdens for some reason. ?
