Guys, Came home tonight to find my Johnson Outboard has been stolen. It was secured by a wire rope padlocked to the boat. Bolt cutters went right through. It's a 15HP Johnson, Serial Number G03831818. If anyone should see/hear or get offered one, please keep this in mind. Thanks

Ring all the service agents/dealers/specialists in the area. like I did two weeks ago. Mine was a 15hp Evinrude, same as Johnson cause I have one of them too. Bastards will take anything. nailed down or not. Kneecapping comes to mind.

local natives tried to steal mates 200 johnson , caught them in the act but they had already cut the remotes off . reported to cops indentified 1 of them but nothing happened .

Often pans out like this, they are known usually. The problem is the cops know even if they do the leg work they get to court and get diversion or community service that lands up being a joke. Can't be fined either because they have no money.
You are well and truly screwed if you take matters into your own hands and don't hide the body well enough though.
