05 Stabicraft 509 or 05/ 490 Whats the difference?

Really? about a few inch's as all I can tell by the write ups.
Just had a look at a 509 and it is pretty awesome. 70 yamaha 2 stroke only 60 hours. Not the round pontoon but the square style wide body .

What is the better boat?

Well this is odd, all the boaties must be getting ready for catching some 15 pounders tomorrow.

509 introduced in 2002.

You would really need to ask the factory to be sure.
509 would appear possibly to have a thicker hull and weighs more etc.

The 509 is a newer (and in my opinion) and a better boat than a 490. Having the Generation 2 pontoons it will be slightly faster for the same power.

The 509 with a 70 Yamaha will be just adequate for power if you are heavily laden, say 4 big guys and their dive gear.
