For towing I would get the BMW, for putting around town the Audi.
And yes, my sister has a Q5 and a friend the BMW. Another has the X5M , now that's fast!

If you have to have either you would be better with NZ new. Guessing the imported one is from Japan, Singapore or similar.

I'd be most tempted by BMW as NZ new and you can check its milage and service history. Check Audi reg on carjam to see where it's from but as others say UK cars can live harder life than ours and Singapore / Japan can have suspicious milage and history. I'm in favour of NZ new though that's personal prejudice.
