Reads like a corny joke!

A truck crashed into a bank in Rotorua this morning, carrying soap powder and detergent. Fire crews are on hand to help with the clean up!

I wonder if the person who wrote the article chuckled as they were writing this, or if they're totally oblivious.

reads a bit wierd but contains just the facts to what i can see.

I am sure it was a sight to behold but I am sure the reporter meant 'site'.

I'm sure the copy writers have a laugh with things like this from time to time. A few months back there was a story involving spilled petrol which the reporter described as a "volatile situation."

The Daily Sketch and the Sun newspapers were well known for their headlines like this, they could be very witty.
