Heads are same. Providing motors are same series then the change from front to rear wheel drive is straight forward. If the donor FWD is a early motor and your van is a cyclone, that's your problem.

There is different bell housing patterns.

Cyclone and early turbo share a wider block. Being it's a van i'm guessing the original engine is a cyclone.
